The Clash’s Japanese archive offers a distinctive perspective on one of Britain’s most influential bands, translating their uncompromising punk identity through the graphic language of their international releases and touring history. The Japan artwork draws attention to this less familiar chapter, where Japanese typography and The Clash’s instantly recognisable identity come together in a piece with the character of original imported music ephemera.

Each tee is individually hand screen printed in the UK, then hand cracked and lightly distressed to recreate the character of an original vintage band tee. Crafted from heavyweight 180gsm organic cotton and finished with authentic vintage plastisol inks, subtle variations make each piece individual.
